 Cruise report

Great weather made this years Jacksonville Cruise Nite Weekend a HUGE success. With 10 Bastards in attendance( Stu, Alex , Burke, Luke, Evan and Duke, Chris and Wes, Donnie& Jeff) Special guests The Lewis' with Jay dropping by in his Shoebox Ford. Tents and good times covered Stu's backyard. Cruise Nite found Jacksonville's Morton Ave. Bumper to bumper with Rods, Bikes, streetmachines, and wanna be's.A rough guess would be 700 special interest cars. The after cruise party at Stu's featured telescope views of a near full moon, along with many other favorite Wheel Bastard activities.By dawn we had six tents and a hammock, with a strange man sleeping on the trampoline. Wes cooked up a mighty nice breakfast, using some exotic eggs from the Busbey ranch, and Dr. Buz and John lernt' me that Fat Tire is really a "breakfast beer." Car show in the park got an early start around 8 AM but no Bastard was able to roll in until 10:30 or 11. 250 plus cars registered, and more just showed up. 95 degrees made finding a shady spot a must, no problem in Jacksonvilles community park. The Bastards broke camp and headed out around 3 or so. No 50/50 winners this year. Thanks to the Beer fairy that left cash in my garage beer fridge. That was a suprise.  Stu
